What is Profhilo Treatment?
Profhilo a moisturising injectable Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that is injected beneath the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin activity, and attract water into the deeper layers of the skin. The end result is; increased skin firmness and elasticity, and also the promotion of a healthier and softer-looking skin. Profhilo also can reduce the appearance of common ageing-related concerns, such as: lines and wrinkles, facial volume loss, loose skin and a dull or dry complexion
Once injected beneath the skin, Profhilo absorbs into the tissues and works to rebuild a strong and firm skin structure. This restoration of the natural fabric of the dermis sees an increase in levels of collagen and elastin.
Profhilo treatment is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, arms, knees and hands.
Profhilo is different from other injectables because it is made of a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This means that it can be injected into the skin without causing damage or pain.
